offices. Many times
the preliminary inspection / audit can be preformed with digital pictures and
data by email.
This allows a quick and low cost solution. NAO also provides field inspection / audits as needed.
BURNER - Example -- NAO Gas Burner OVERHEATING AIR REGISTER
NAO
supplied the burners and they operated fine for
a few years. Then the enduser called NAO and advised
that the burners where overheating and the steel work
on the burner air register was getting black and sooty.
NAO started to review the problem with the enduser, asking
them to check the NAO INSPECTION SHEETS for the burner
that were included in the OPERATIONS MANUAL.

The enduser checked both sheets with their operators, but
could not find a problem.
NAO asked the enduser to send us some
pictures of the burners
and the problem. NAO reviewed and found that someone in the
endusers plant had installed a competitors pilot nozzle -- this nozzle
was too long and resulted in the main burner flames striking it and
being deflected downward -- resulting in the overheating problem.
Changed to NAO burner pilot nozzle -- problem solved.

NAO provided a 165 pages
operations and maintenance
manual as part of the flare tip
package. Shortly after startup,
the user was having problems
with the pilots and ignition.
NAO worked with them to find
the problems and solve.

from the plant adjustments were
make to improve the operation.
