NAO Flame/Detonation Arrestors -- Wide Range of Materials, Sizes & Types -- also Specials & Testing

MORE DETAILS / EXAMPLES -- NAO makes a wide range of types & sizes
(4 pages - over 38 types shown) of arrestors.  Including those to meet NACE.

We make them in many standard and custom configurations
    -- pictures & details:
burnerinlineliquid seal  and  vent.

NAO arrestors grids are built in stainless steel to exotics (Monel, Hastelloy, Inconel, Incoloy).
NAO arrestor housings can be built of carbon steel, stainless steel or exotics.  Sometime, the
arrestor can be built to fit between the customers pipe unions (threaded) or flanges.
See types and sizes -- wafer or between flange types.

NAO does NOT produce ALUMINUM ARRESTORS -- Low Melting Point -- FAILURENAO does NOT produce aluminum arrestors due to its low melting temperature
(housing or grid melts -- allows gas/flame to escape) and possible failure.

See Exxon tank explosion.

Unfortunately, thousands of flame and detonation arrestors have been,
      and continue to be, misapplied.
    See arrestor safety.

For more details & information on flame & detonation arrestors,
please see

Don’t risk fires and potentially catastrophic explosions.

Specify flame/detonation arrestors, water seals, disentrainment drums and other
inline and end-of-line arrestors that have been designed, manufactured, and properly
tested for acceptance and applicability of each basic configuration by the U.S.
Coast Guard, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), API (American Petroleum Institute)
and other worldwide regulatory agencies.

Insist on ISO-9001 quality certification for design, manufacture, test and installation.

Specify NAO flame/detonation arrestors.

We manufacture all types and all sizes, including deflecting baffle detonation breakers.

At our 150 acre Environmental Research and Service Center, we can conduct full-scale tests that will replicate
your actual plant configurations and duplicate your flammable gas/ vapor conditions.    NAO Arrester Testing
